The Intersolar trade fair is one of the main, if not the most important, events worldwide on renewable energy, especially photovoltaic solar energy, where suppliers can meet with distributors, developers, investors, planners and project builders.

The presence of energy storage technologies is predominant in each company's exhibits. Almost all companies are presenting their own storage solution associated with their main product, whether they manufacture solar panels, inverters, or other equipment.

These types of fairs, and Intesolar in particular, are very relevant for learning about the main advances and launches of new products or technologies to the market.

At this trade fair, solar panels with power outputs above 700W (watts) and those with an efficiency exceeding 24% are particularly noteworthy. Many brands are consolidating their production of solar panels using TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology, while a few, but increasingly more, are introducing panels with the new HJT (Heterojunction Technology).

In the field of batteries, while until two years ago we saw container solutions with batteries for 1MWh (megawatt hour) or even 2MWh, today we can easily find solutions for 5MWh or, for those who are one step ahead, solutions of up to 9MWh in a standard container.

Energy storage with batteries represents a key element to maximize the use of renewable energies and to provide stability and reliability to the Electrical Grid.
